Day 68: I spent today closing gaps in Vocabolino's auth layer. No new features. Just making what exists actually work correctly. Things I fixed: • Ghost accounts (Firebase exists, no data) could log in and see an empty app • Users weren't being signed out properly after deleting their account Building in public means shipping the unsexy stuff too.

Day 67: I redesigned the daily progress screen in Vocabolino. The goal was simple: Make vocabulary learning feel clear and calm instead of overwhelming. Now users can instantly see: • what’s done • what’s left • and continue practicing anytime Small UX improvements like this matter when you’re building a vocabulary system people actually want to return to every day. Because consistency matters more than random word lists.

Day 66: I added a new Messages Center to make onboarding and in-app guidance much cleaner. Before: scattered dialogs everywhere. Now: one structured system for helping users learn the vocabulary they actually need.

Today I improved the daily goal system in Vocabolino. → clearer progress → visible “done” state → small celebration when you hit it Nothing fancy, but this matters more than new features. If people don’t feel progress, they stop learning. What keeps you consistent in learning apps?

Started working on App Store visuals for Vocabolino today. Goal: explain the product in 5 seconds. Not: “another vocabulary app” But: • Stop learning random words • Collect vocabulary from your real life • Turn it into something you actually remember Quick draft ↓ Day 64. Building in public 🌱

Currently, it was just for my website. It takes all public repositories, reads the readme and the images inside, uses links to demos,... here you can see an example: it fetches all from github: pmoser.com (5years old idea) but it could be nice, if I do a rework. Does it makes sence for devs?

Day 63 - building a vocabulary app. Shipped recording for the iOS app. Now you can save vocabulary from recordings. Hear a word → record → transcribe → save it as vocabulary. No more losing useful words from real life.

@trovestudio_org @KaiXCreator Thanks, that’s super helpful. You’re right, I’m probably trying to show too much at once instead of making the core value obvious. I’m already reworking it to focus on one clear outcome upfront.

You don’t have a motivation problem when learning English. You have a relevance problem. Most apps teach you random words like: “apple”, “airport”, “elephant” But in real life, you see words like: → in meetings → in articles → in conversations And you forget them. That’s the gap. I’m building something to fix this: → collect words from your real life → turn them into flashcards → actually remember them #LearnEnglish

@volosatovde Kind of, it’s less a “course” and more a personal vocabulary system. You save words from real life, and it helps you remember them. Are you currently learning vocabulary?
