I modernize legacy platforms and build custom tools for growing teams. Sharing practical lessons on web development, Drupal, and AI-assisted engineering. Foundeima.sh Philadelphia, PAJoined February 2025
It’s been a while since I checked in on you, @Upwork. Why charge freelancers per proposal? It won’t solve low-quality applications. It’ll push for more AI-generated ones. Don’t make real freelancers camp the feed. Use AI for moderation, punish bad actors, reward real freelancers.
I recently became a maintainer of Drupal’s Google API Client module, which a lot of websites use to power their connections with Google services.
I started by cleaning up the issue queue and releasing version 4.8.
Next, I’m bringing the module up to date and focusing future development on Drupal 11 and 12.

@pkuhar Its perfect as it is now - flush with the laptop body. The switches and logic would introduce cost through complexity. I was thinking tap, swipe, touch or hover over controls would take it to the new level, but I understand that there isn't space for that.
This RGB LED thingie for the SD Card slot was originally intended for when you grab and close your laptop to show if AI Agents are running when lid is closed.
But it looks as satisfying when docked.
* this animation shows an agent working.
@pkuhar "SidePulse Pro exposes itself to your Mac as a filesystem. No driver to install, no app to run, no SDK to learn. To change the lights, you write to LEDS.TXT", now that is SMART! I would love to set it up to monitor infrastructure health.
🚨Quick Reminder for Composer Users!
If you're managing project dependencies with Composer, chances are you're using ‘cweagans/composer-patches’ to apply patches automatically.
Especially on Drupal projects, l've seen patches often hot-linked to remote sources (like merge request patches or those hosted on Drupal.org).
Pro Tip: Don't rely on external links. Make sure patches are part of your codebase for better
stability and security.

I’ve always used password managers—specifically @1Password. Pretty sure I still have a lifetime license for versions 5-7. When Apple released their Passwords app, I considered switching… until I realized that if your Apple ID gets hacked, so does everything stored in it. No thanks.
I have always wondered why US cars have so many cup holders. My current car has 7 cup holders accessible by the driver. SEVEN! Anyways, now that I’m in US and drive on daily basis, I know that even 7 cup holders are not enough on particularly busy weeks. 🤷🏻♂️
Been diving into #DDEV addons lately, and wow! The 'ddev-drupal-contrib' one is fantastic for #Drupal stuff. Seriously simplifies contributing to projects. Anyone else using it? What other addons are you finding useful? #DrupalDev #DevTools
