@SouthPark "South Ontario" would have been more aggravating to the demented pedophile.

I had been hoping that Musk might have a shred of social intelligence, but no... So this is my farewell to Twitter. Now I'm entirely on Facebook, at least until Zuckerberg goes from whacky to evil. facebook.com/james.gosling.…

What a powerful and eloquent contrast between the candidates for senator for Georgia. I find it mind boggling that this race (and many others) is close. Lying morons shouldn’t get a single vote.

A few weeks ago I gave a talk at DEVOXX all about building IoT software and Greengrass from AWS. I finally got around to watching the video. It's pretty decent if you speed it up 1.5x youtu.be/NtrF_SiFQag

@ebennekers I’m pretty sure I was just reading the news. Between Putin and the MAGA movement, there’s a lot of disturbing news these days. The world of software is pretty trouble-free.

@thor_benson I'd wager that it was one of Orange Satan's planned post-presidency revenue streams.

For those of you still stuck on JDK8, there's a new Corretto release with all the latest updates and CVE defenses. But please, get off JDK8 as fast as you can. JDK17 LTS is a huge leap in every dimension. github.com/corretto/corre…

@Ty_alXander Corretto is Amazon's supported release of the JDK. Corretto/17 is fully supported within AWS. The performance improvements over JDK8 (particularly for garbage collection) are *dramatic*. Add to that all the new language features. The upgrade is compelling.

@mbk_center All the oligarchs toys and mansions and offshore bank accounts need to be confiscated to help fund the rebuilding of Ukraine. The people of Ukraine are due massive reparation payments from Putin.
